King Abdullah II and the French and Lebanese Presidents Hold Trilateral Meeting in Paris

Al-Taj News – The trilateral meeting bringing together His Majesty King Abdullah II with French President Emmanuel Macron and Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun in Paris on Thursday focused on mechanisms to enhance the level of cooperation and coordination in areas of common interest.

The meeting discussed the importance of France hosting the new round of the “Aqaba Process” meetings, which explore ways to support the Lebanese Army and Internal Security Forces to enable them to carry out their duties in maintaining the security and safety of the Lebanese people.

The meeting also addressed the dangerous regional escalation, with the leaders stressing the need to intensify international efforts to reach a comprehensive and sustainable de-escalation that restores stability to the region.

The overall developments in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem were also discussed.
